Guidelines for All Presentations 报告指南

  • Generals:
  • Language: Presentations should be in English. Please ensure that your slides are also in English for clarity.
  • Rehearsal: We encourage all presenters to rehearse their presentation before the conference to ensure smooth delivery within the allotted time.
  • Q&A: Prepare for a Q&A session after your presentation. Answer questions clearly and respectfully. If you do not know the answer, be honest and offer to follow up after the session.
  • Presentation Etiquette: Maintain a professional tone throughout your presentation. Be respectful of other presenters' time and space.
  • Oral Presentations

Oral presentations are an essential part of the conference, providing an opportunity for speakers to present their research to a live audience. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

    1.1 Presentation Duration

    • Each presenter will have 15 minutes for their presentation, including a 2-3 minute Q&A session.
    • Please keep your presentation within the allotted time to ensure that all speakers have an opportunity to present.

    1.2 Technical Requirements

    • Presentations should be delivered in PowerPoint or PDF format.
    • Please copy your presentation to the conference computer at least 30 minutes before your session begins.
    • Audio and video support will be available, but please test your multimedia materials before the session to ensure they work properly.
    • Presenters are encouraged to use presentation remotes for ease of navigation.

    Poster Presentations

Poster presentations are an interactive way to share your work with fellow researchers in a more informal setting. Please follow these guidelines to ensure your poster is effective:

    2.1 Poster Dimensions and Setup

    • Poster size: A1 (594 x 841 mm), portrait orientation.
    • Mount your poster on the designated board at least 30 minutes before the start of the session. The conference staff will assist with poster placement if needed.
    • Ensure that your poster is easy to read from a distance, with clear headings and readable text.

2.2 Presentation During the Poster Session

    • Presenters will be given a designated time slot to stand by their poster and engage with attendees. This is an opportunity to explain your work and answer questions.
    • Be prepared to present a brief overview (about 2-3 minutes) of your research for interested attendees.
    • Have printed handouts (optional) available for those who wish to take more detailed information about your work.
